WINTER 2021 League Details:
REMEMBER: Registration Deadline for WINTER 2021 leagues is January 04, 2021!

Payment must be received in full by the deadline to secure a spot in the league/program of your choice!
FCSSC offers 3 ways to play:
1) Register a full team.
2) Register as an individual & we will place you on a team with other individuals.
3) Register as a small group (register as an individual & request to play with friends. We will place you & your friends on a team with other individuals or small groups).

Safe Return to Play	Per Phase 3 requirements, team sport leagues cannot exceed a MAXIMUM OF 50 PARTICIPANTS. That means that FCSSC must ensure that Soccer teams have a max roster of 8 players and are assigned to a pool with a maximum of 5 other teams (6 teams total, so that the total participants in the pool does not exceed 50 players). Teams will only play the other teams in their pool for the entirety of the season on a weekly basis. All players must complete the Self-Screening upon arrival and check in at the sanitizing station upon. Players must follow all signage at the facility. Players must view and sign the Centrefield Sports Waiver upon arrival. All participants must wear a face mask upon arrival and departure from the courts as turnover can be a busy time. Masks are not required during play, however, they must be worn anytime a player is on the sidelines for breaks or waiting for their turn in the rotation. There must be NO INTENTIONAL CONTACT between players at any time. All participants must attempt to stay 6 feet apart at all times, including before, during and after games. Teams must spread out as much as possible and keep players 6 feet apart. All teams must assign a Health Ambassador who will be named Co-Captain and who will monitor and assist members of his/her own team to follow the rule modifications, as well as FCSSC's Safe Return to Play Guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be readily available all around the field. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own. All participants are asked to bring their own personal equipment, like ball for warm up, sweat towel, and water bottle. No sharing. The game ball will be sanitized at regular intervals throughout game play. COVID Safety Rules Modifications for this sport are in effect and must be complied with at all times during game play. All other Safe Return to Play Guidelines must also be followed. Please read.
What to Expect	Players in this co-ed league are a mix of new and experienced players, with varying skill levels, all playing with a for-fun attitude. You are playing for bragging rights this season! Score Reporting and Standings will be kept but there will not be playoffs, or prizes this season. Spirit Points always count.
League Dates	MONDAY Starts: Monday, January 11, 2021 Ends: Monday, March 8, 2021 All games will be played on Monday. No Games Feb 15 (Family Day) WEDNESDAY* Starts: Wednesday, January 13, 2021 Ends: Wednesday, March 10, 2021 All games will be played on Wednesday.* THURSDAY Starts: Thursday, January 14, 2021 Ends: Thursday, March 11, 2021 All games will be played on Thursday.* *There is no pre-set rain date for turf sports. If re-scheduling is required due to facility closure FCSSC will arrange new game dates.

Game Times	MONDAY Games can start at 8:00pm and 9:00pm. WEDNESDAY* Games can start at 7:00pm. 8:00pm and 9:00pm. THURSDAY* Games can start at 6:00pm, 7:00pm*. Game times can change weekly and will be equalized for all teams throughout the season. All games are 55 minutes.

Sport Info

Spirit of the League	This is a RECREATIONAL, NON-CONTACT, FOR-FUN league. Competitive players are encouraged to choose a different league in which to play. Please review COVID League Changes and Safe Return to Play as well as FCSSC's Conduct Policy before registering. All games are self-officiated (no referees), although FCSSC staff will be on-site at all times to protect player safety, help with the rules, keep time, & score.
League Format	Each week teams play one 55 minute game against one opponent.
Number of People on Turf	5 players total including the goalie. The spirit of co-ed play suggests at least 2 females, at least 2 males on the field.
Recommended Roster Size	8 players max at the game each week. We suggest at least 3 males and 3 females (do as you please with the rest!) on your team.
Equipment	All (non-personal) sport equipment provided by FCSSC. See RULES for regulation equipment details.
Age & Waivers	All players MUST be 19 years of age or older, no exceptions. All players MUST sign a waiver before playing, no exceptions. Signing the waiver on-line is super easy, just follow the steps during registration & checkout.

It is the responsibility of all players to read, understand and comply with the general rules & club policies as well as the sport specific rules. (Captains: please ensure all members of your roster review the following before participating):

Modified Score & Spirit Point Reporting
Leagues will be played “for fun” with no playoffs. Scores and standings will still appear on our website. The “Spirit Score” system for Teams is still in place to share recognition or concerns with us. No prizing or trophies will be awarded.

Location

FCSSC's INDOOR TURF location is Centrefield Indoor Sports Complex. This state-of-the-art facility offers FCSSC members a fantastic play experience. The location is on the bus route and has ample parking.
