|Safe Return to Play
Per Phase 3 requirements, team sport leagues cannot exceed a MAXIMUM OF 50 PARTICIPANTS. That means that FCSSC must ensure that football teams are limited to 12 people on the roster and assigned to a pool with only 3 other teams (totaling 48 players max in the league). Teams will only play the other 3 teams in their pool for the duration of the season.
There must be NO CONTACT between players at any time. All participants must stay 6 feet apart at all times, including before, during and after games.
All participants are asked to wear a face mask/covering upon arrival and departure from the field to minimize risk of COVID transmission. Masks may be removed during game play.
Masks are not required during play, however, we ask that masks/covering be worn anytime a player is on the sidelines for breaks or waiting for their turn in the rotation.
Teams are asked to set up team "beaches" along the sidelines, rather than using the team benches that may be present at the field. Spread out as much as possible.
All teams must assign a Health Ambassador who will be named Co-Captain and who will monitor and assist members of his/her own team to follow the rule modifications, as well as FCSSC's Safe Return to Play Guidelines. The on-site Game Coordinator will have hand sanitizer available. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own.
All participants are asked to bring their own personal equipment, like gloves, and water bottle. FCSSC will provide football and flag belts. All shared equipment will be sanitized regularly per government guidelines. All other Safe Return to Play Guidelines must also be followed. Please read.
