Safe Play

All participants must comply with FCSSC's Safe Play Guidelines. Please read before registering.

What to Expect

Players in this co-ed, 6-on-6 league will be a mix of new and experienced players, with varying skill levels, all playing with a for-fun attitude. Self-officiated (no referees) play governed by FCSSC’s unique Spirit Point System.

Players who register as an individual will be asked to self-asses their skill/experience level as part of their registration so that teams can be more evenly comprised and matched up. This will lead to a better playing experience for all.

FCSSC has updated our Dodgeball Rules since the last time this league was offered, to improve player safety, add clarity for self-officiating, and to better align with the World Federation of Dodgeball (WFD) rules so that players can easily play with multiple leagues and/or progress in the sport.

FCSSC currently plays with 7.5" dodgeballs, slightly larger than the standard 7" WFD ball. Though the weight of the two dodgeballs is the same (thanks to a slight difference in foam density), playing with a 7" ball may be better for all players, regardless of hand size or grip strength. The only way to know for sure is to try! We intend to experiment with the 7" dodgeball this season so that members can tell us what they think. Your input matters!

About Spirit Points: Spirit points are awarded to a team, by their opponent, after each game to reward them for excellent sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play. Spirit points account for 25% of your total score so it is mathematically impossible to become league champions if your team is no fun to play against! Click for more information including how to properly award Spirit Points.

This league is expected to play at any one of Wortley Road PS, Woodland Heights PS, Masonville PS and/or the London Christian Academy. Community use of schools is still very, very limited so registrants should be prepared to play at any location within the city limits.

**FCSSC reserves the right to change the location of play, without notice or refund, should that be required for any reason.**
