It's time to get back on the court. We can't play yet, but we can definitely practice!

WINTER 2021 Program Details:
REMEMBER: Registration Deadline for this league is Monday, January 2, 2021! 

Payment must be received in full by the deadline to secure a spot in the league/program of your choice!

Safe Return to Play

Per the current government requirements for recreational activities, this program will have a maximum of 12 participants.

All activities in the gymnasium will accommodate 6-9m of distance between participants.

All players must complete the Self-Screening upon arrival, check in at the sanitizing station and comply with all contact tracing protocols that are in place at the facility.

There must be NO INTENTIONAL CONTACT between players at any time. All participants must attempt to stay 6 feet apart at all times, including before, during and after games.Teams must spread out as much as possible and keep players 6 feet apart and masked on the side of the courts.

Hand sanitizer will be readily available all around the gym space. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own.

All participants are asked to bring their own personal equipment, like sweat towel, and water bottle. FCSSC will provide basketballs.

The basketballs will be sanitized at regular intervals throughout the activity.

All other Safe Return to Play Guidelines must also be followed. Please read.

What to Expect Week 1: Back to Basic
Dust off your sneakers and brush up on our skills! This session will help you to get back in the gym and working on your fundamental skills. Instructors will review the basic of dribbling, passing and shooting.
Week 2: Shooting and Finishing
Build on our fundamentals of shooting and learn how to score like a pro.  In this session we will look to perfect our shooting form and learn some key tips on how to up your shooting percentage.  Be it on the move or off a pass always be shot ready!
Week 3: Offensive Concepts
Spacing, movement and communication are all keys to a great offense. We will explore simple motion concepts like cutting and screening to help get you and your team moving.
Week 4: Transition/ Defense
A good defense is the best offense! In this session we will look at individual skills and team concepts to stop the other team from scoring.
Nathan Wilcox is a Level 2 Nationally Certified basketball coach.  He has worked with players of all ages; including both college and university athletes. Nathan has spent the last 10 seasons as a Coach for the London Ramblers Basketball Association Under 19 Women’s program.   

Alex Van Heeswyk has been an Assistant Coach with the London Ramblers Basketball Association for the past 4 seasons. Alex played for the London Ramblers JUEL and for Western University from 2014-2018.

Spirit of the Program This program is intended as a refresher for players who love basketball. The planned drills are intended to be fun and help you improve all aspects of your game play.

Class Size

A minimum of 8 participants is required to run the program. Class size will be capped at 12 participants.


Participants must bring their your water and towel. No sharing. FCSSC will provide all other equipment.

Participant Information All paid participants will receive detailed information about the program after registration closes.
Age & Waivers All participants MUST be 19 years of age or older, no exceptions. All participants must comply with FCSSC's Safe Return to Play Guidelines for the safety of all members, staff, and facility/program providers.
All participants MUST sign a waiver before playing, no exceptions. Signing the waiver on-line is super easy, just follow the steps during registration & checkout.




Safe Return to Play Guidelines must be followed. No sport specific rules apply to this program.


Due to COVID the Thames Valley District School Board, The London District Catholic School Board, The City of London, as well as most non-profits, private schools and churches have chosen to disallow or severely limit rental of their facilities this Fall & Winter to community groups like FCSSC. This has created an extreme shortage of play space, and made us eternally grateful to those organizations that have welcomed FCSSC in their space.
