FALL 2020 League Details:

REMEMBER: Registration Deadline for this league is Monday September 7, 2020!

Payment must be received in full by the deadline to secure a spot in the league/program of your choice!

Safe Return to Play

This class will take place outdoors, where, experts say, transmission of COVID-19 is much less likely.

All participants must stay 6 feet apart at all times, including before, during and after class.

As this is an outdoor activity, masks are not required, though masks are strongly encouraged if the group finds themselves in a situation where remaining 6 feet apart is challenging or not possible.

The instructor will have hand sanitizer available. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own.

All participants are asked to bring their own clubs and water bottle. No sharing.

All other Safe Return to Play Guidelines must also be followed. Please read.

What to Expect

FCSSC is excited to team up with Fanshawe Golf Coaches School to once again offer Golf Lessons only this time - On the Course!

This program is designed for players of all skill levels who want guidance and feedback on all aspects of the game, one stroke at a time.
Players will be divided into foursomes and will play “Best Ball” for ONE HOUR (2-3 holes) with a Fanshawe Golf Coaching School instructor providing you with on-course coaching.
The coach will work with two foursomes (1 coach for 8 people) and float between the tee box and greens on a power cart to provide efficient and effective play and etiquette advice (ie. which is the right club to use, how much power to use, where to aim your shot (when to yell FORE!), all while correcting stance, club angles and grip). Not to mention etiquette (ie. divot repairs, order, when to hit) – playing the course after all is much about etiquette!

With “Best Ball” – everyone plays and as a group decides which ball is the best to take the next shot. The three others retrieve their balls and move to the “best ball location” to play their next shot. Rinse and repeat!

Led by a professional instructor from Fanshawe Golf Coaching School, this 6-week program will help those who took summer lessons transition onto the course or help a new member make some corrections and build some more confidence while on the course.

Participants should bring their own equipment (clubs and balls, golf or athletic shoes) and water bottles. Don’t forget to shift to fall golf and bring a light, wind breaker jacket or umbrella just in case.

Max 12 participants.
